I bought a bouquet of flowers to be sent to my bf? - masculine flowers

... and 2 red roses and 1 white rose (3 wanted the flowers within the meaning of "I love you" and I know say the only truly "pure love" and "You r the only ')
But I've just read that I am to get more male color for a man ... What color is a good thing? And it would still have the same meaning?
