The Gerber LMF II is a great knife. The reason why I did not like was that it is too heavy for me, and I was a little annoyed. In addition, it was difficult to remove the sheath. In my opinion the hammer at the end for me it was useless in the forest. Can something really on the ground with a stone in the right size. When I pushed a spear, I thought it was too heavy for underwater fishing, but perfect for the big game. It's a hell of a helicopter and has a great advantage. Frankly, I can do more with my Recon Tanto. Many people know not much use in the woods, but never a problem with it (skinning, fishing, digging, etc.) Also, the LMF II is difficult to maintain but easy to use. It is the weight feels like a baseball bat. All this is from my personal experience with the knife. Each knife is different for each person. We hope you will find one that works for you.
